Session Overview:
The purpose of this session is to discuss how evidence-based traditional Chinese medicine treatment interventions can be integrated into clinical trials to better inform clinical decision-making.

Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:

  • explain traditional Chinese medicine treatments for arthritis
  • describe how evidence can be integrated into alternative treatments for arthritis
  • apply strategies for treatment interventions that focus on mind-body therapies for chronic pain
  • discuss how  alternative treatments can be utilized in clinical practice
