Many systemic autoimmune diseases have concomitant cutaneous manifestations. This session will focus on common cutaneous features seen in systemic autoimmune disease. We will discuss the differential diagnoses of these cutaneous manifestations as well as the common first line therapies.
Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:
- identify cutaneous findings associated with underlying rheumatologic disease
- construct a differential diagnosis for these conditions
- design a strategy for management of skin disease seen in patients with rheumatologic diseases
